Our latest creation is bound to be one of my favorite flower girl dresses thus far.  Perhaps because this flower girl dress is made in new colors, or the beautiful flower in back.  Top is in New Ivory Silk with Silk in Key Lime under and ivory organza skirt and a sash made in the color called Purple Heart.

Just the other day,   I posted an image of a new Tiffany blue flower girl dress we had made just about ready to go down the aisle.  I thought it was the most beautiful dress I ever saw until we finished this one!

Made with Violet Silk, we made a lilac sash and then layered 4 different colors of tulle – from top to bottom, Lavender tulle, Lilac tulle, Amethyst Tulle and French Blue.  It was outrageous!  Can’t wait to see it on next month.

This past week at Pegeen.com we have enjoyed our holidays and the plan was to get out of town for relatives and gatherings – but the FLU reared it’s nasty head and decided to come to us instead.  So, nursing the aftereffects, I give to you, this week’s flower girl dresses of the week.  It was a lovely purple grape with a set of silk flowers in lilac in the back and white diamond crystal sequins on the top.

Tahiti Beach Wedding

I had contacted one of my brides in Australia, dying to see her outfits we did for 3 flower girls and 2 ring bearers.  Much to my surprise she told me the wedding occurred in Tahiti!  I am ready to pack up my bags! “Le Virman (the ceremony was set on the beach in the sunset and the dinner was at the ‘O’ Restaurant next to the beach) www.SamedResorts.com.”

You have decided that you are going to have a destination wedding – something different.  So where do you start?  Do you bring everything?  If you leave the country does that mean you will have customs issues?

There are quite a number of books and articles out there on hiring a planner for a destination wedding and I would highly recommend that you choose a planner to help.  It’s difficult enough to plan your own wedding without professional help, but from a distance?  No way.
