There are sometimes in a designer’s life that we can’t wait to see the end result – the finished flower girl dress.  These tulle, Degas inspired dresses were no exception.  Our bride gave us her inspiration (more on that in a later post) and we were so excited to get going on the dresses.

Each year we get asked to do two special things for our customers, special portrait dresses and Nutcracker Party Dresses for young ballet students.  We originally did the latter for a customer who then later had her daughter sit for a photographer.

This flower girl dress is available in 200 colors so that it may be customized.

We just got in a lot of photos from our customers with their fantastic photographers.  Each time we see one of our dresses “come alive” we are awestruck. This dress was in a soft baby chick yellow and white silk with 12 layers of tulle and silk, part of the Couture Collection of Flower Girl Dresses by Pegeen.

This flower girl dress in hibiscus pink was based on style 388 and had a sash and skirt in Peony Pink and a bodice in Hibiscus.  The customer added 1/4 cap sleeves for an additional $15.  The bride used three dresses for the girls in the wedding party, in shades of purple and a jr. bridesmaids dress in shades of gray.

This brown and toffee silk flower girl dress was based on style 345 and had a Chocolate Brown base, the sash color in Toffee.  The dress was ordered with sleeves at the same price.  CUSTOM DRESSES ARE NOT RETURNABLE.

Our customer chose to have a royal purple Cinderella bow on the back of her flower girl dress with 1/4 sleeves with an antique white silk base.

Her sleeves cost an additional $15 but all of our dresses come with or without a sleeve (a cap sleeve is standard) at no extra charge and always with a crinoline.

I always thought these two colors, Antiqua Taupe and Gumdrop Pink belonged together but not one customer chose it until now. The custom flower girl dress is available in 200+ colors and availabe too with options like v-backs or flowers at very nominal prices. This style by Pegeen is flower girl dress style 326 with an organza skirt and is entirely made of silk.

This flower girl dress was made in Shock (hot pink) for the sash and Key Lime for the base color of the dress.  She added color with tulle in Lime Tulle for an additional $35.  We loved the fact that her other four flower girl dresses were combinations of Purple, Hot Shock Pink and Key Lime. Can’t wait for the photos!
