It is hard for us to resist thinking warm, beach weddings.  Quite frankly, because we are located in Florida, warm weather is a natural occurrence.   However, many wedding couples think these same, warm thoughts in the winter and plan their weddings at tropical destinations like Florida,  the Virgin Islands, or even Bora Bora (yes, we mistakenly called a bride on her honeymoon to ask her how her wedding went as we typically do a few weeks after their wedding, but that’s a different and embarrassing story).   One of our favorite customers ordered her dresses for her girls for their second wedding that they were flower girls in.  These triplets wore coral colored silk and tulle, degas style flower girl dresses.

In multiple shades of coral silks including Coral Rose, C antelope, Peach, Fire, Mango, Squash, Carrot and Playtime —- did we leave out sherbert? NOPE! Dresses were lined in Sherbert silk under 10 layers of multiple shades of corals and peaches.

This flower girl dress was made in Shock (hot pink) for the sash and Key Lime for the base color of the dress.  She added color with tulle in Lime Tulle for an additional $35.  We loved the fact that her other four flower girl dresses were combinations of Purple, Hot Shock Pink and Key Lime. Can’t wait for the photos!

I just got these pictures from a customer’s wedding in June who choose chocolate and Tiffany blue for her flower girl dresses and Jr. Bridesmaids.  I loved her flowers!  This weekend I will be attending a wedding for my son’s dear sweet Athletic Trainer who is going to be leaving his school (sigh).  Will post them too! Can’t wait because I don’t get to see very many of my Pegeen flower girl dresses in action !

I got a call from a bride’s mom who is planning a wedding in California.  They had been looking at Pegeen.com for quite some time and were ready to place their order for “the dress” which is to also be her granddaughter’s flower girl dress.

I was very excited to learn that David Tutera is their wedding planner.  I love this planners work and am so very happy that finally, he’s going to see my work too!

Flower girl dresses in tulle are our favorite to make – each one individual like a tiny sugar plum fairy. This wedding for Ranae had wonderful photography by www.rayanthonyphoto.com. The bride had chosen a special color blue sapphire to go with her maid of honor and a boy’s ring bearer suit with white silk knickers and shirt and a double breasted sapphire blue jacket.

Ranae had the most wonderful use of flowers on her pews and centerpieces and repeated in the hand made flowers on her cake.

Pegeen Flower Girl Dresses of the Month in Blue Tulle

Pegeen.com is pleased to present our selection for Wedding of the Month for December with a lovely ceremony and reception held at the The Westin Riverwalk in San Antonio, TX.  The Photographer of the Month is the wonderful Reine Mihtla of Vancover. Our bride and groom celebrated the Bride’s Asian heritage in their wedding.  On the morning of her wedding, for the Chinese Tea Ceremony, Sarah wore the traditional Chinese Gown passed down from her mother.

What was so special about her wedding was the selection of her shoes!

Made of Claret Red silk and red tulle, we used a Pure Gold silk sash and crinoline for this dress. Many of our flower girl dresses can be adapted for The Nutcracker performances. Although this is the tail end of the season, call Pegeen.com and we can still get you one in time for dress.
